The little confessions out of the blue
Where you’ve been all this while?
Hidden under the scars I thought were all there was to life
Or perhaps under that sturdy defensive aisle?
Like the horizon after the rain you surfaced
An idea affirmed yet incomprehensibly distant
Existent beneath the storms and rains
Reassuring, but an unreached mirage at the same instant.
The little confession out of the blue
Fed unwittingly by life’s intent flow
Only to surface at a moment when all else materialized
And when it’s time for new seeds to sow.
The subconscious nuances of the mind are surreal
How they foster thoughts and actions beyond our control
When it all seems mundane and unbecoming
Little confessions surface on a roll.
